    Studor Vents

Two of my baths have regular vents through the roof. The third (master) bath has a studor vent mounted under each sink in the vanity. I believe that these were an after thought as the builder had to cut through the exterior brick wall to install them.

Are these two vents sufficient for toilet, shower, tub and two sinks. The sinks drain very slowly. It is approaching the end of my warranty on my new home and need to know if these vents my cause more serious problems in the future.

    Thank you for your help.

It would appear that the plumber neglected to vent the master bath and compensated with the Studor Vents. If it passed the final inspection for the house CO it should pass yours. A single Studor Vent will relieve the suction caused by discharging fixtures. You have two. While I prefer outside vents a Studor Vent performs the same function. Regards, tom
