    Noise from new furnace
I recently had a new Lenox furnace installed in my new home. It now makes a steady eletrical humming sound whether it is on or off at the thermostat. My installer does not seem to be concerned but it does not seem right to me. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Is this a loud noise? It may just be a transformer, Is this a gas furnace w/ heat pump or straight A/C?

This is just a central forced air furnace. The noise is not loud but sounds like a hum. You can hear it in the furnace room and through the return vents when the fan is not on. Thanks for the help.

It would be really helpful if you could give me the model number of the furnace, I'm pretty familiar with Lennox, that is our main brand, and I've worked on a lot of newer Lennox equipment.
