Reporting Immigration Abuse & the crime by an illigal immigrant.
    Hi,

I had a friend and now things are not going that well as far as friendship is concerned. He is trying to adopt a guy from Latin America who is 21 years old and has entered America illegally.

When I came to know about this, we had some hot discussions about his immigration abuse and I decided not to meet this guy any more. The guy he is trying to adopt, knows about this and he was threatening me and he followed me couple of times. When I went to the police station, the officer said that they cannot do anything about illegal immigrants. They catch them and again they have to let them go because the Federal Laws prohibit them to deport them directly.

Dear sir, I am scared about his situation as I have heard that if these illegal immigrants do anything wrong, at the most what happens is that they are deported. Two days back I heard the news on Fox News, that a marine who came back home from the Iraq war was killed in a car crash by an illegal dunk immigrant. If he is convicted, then he will be deported. That's it? This means that they really don't have any fear do anything wrong.

I feel scared and I want to know what I can do for my protection. Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Blabo.

My advice would be to just stay away from the guy the best you can. It's a shame that our government protects and caters to illegal immigrants more than they do citizens of this country :(

No, if convicted they serve their time and after prison, they are deported.
On minor things they are not normally deported or reported.

Next he can not adopt a 21 year old, that is not done within our legal system,

He is having a court case this month and he claims that he will be able to get through some loop hole to get that illigal immigrant naturalized. He has started this process when that illigal immigrant was 19 years old.

Also he is claiming him as his dependent for last 2 years and gets tax deductions. If he cannot adopt him, then can he claim that guy as a dependent? I know for sure that he is getting tax deductions by claiming him as a dependent. Can he really do that?

Well you can choose to call ICE and report him as an illegal and give them all the details. They mght take the case and decide whether or not to deport him, but due to the volume of calls they receive they may do nothing:

You can also call the police and tell them he's stalking you, they may not be able to deport him but they can have him arrested if he breaks any laws. While he's in the US he has to follow all US laws.
