I am sorry, I don't know what white pills you are talking about. Are they birgh control pills? If so what is the name of them? If you don't know, you may want to take them to your local pharmacy and have the pharmacist identify them and explain them to you.

Did your doctor prescribe them to you? If not, you shouldn't be taking them. If so, you can contact your doctor for a full explanation.

From what I've been told, the white pills are sugar pills. Not sure if I'm right on that though. They don't have hormones in them, they are there to allow you to have a period. If you skip them and just keep taking the regular birth control you won't have a period. Take the white pills and you should get your period!

If this is right, since we don't know exactly what pill you are on, these are called placebo pills. Yes, they are basically sugar pills and are there for the main purpose of you taking them so that you do not forget when to start your new pack.
