OK I am six months and I was assulted yesterday by a guy and I pressed charges on him and I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what the charge carrys he almost hit me told me he was going to kick me in my belly and kill the baby then he spit in my face I live in tennesse and I have two people that saw the whole thing and told the cops what happed so please help me figure this out :confused:

I have no idea what the charges would be, the police or a lawyer would be the best people to talk with about this. Sorry know I wasn't much help, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am for what happened, and I hope you are all right, and the guy gets some good punishment for it.

I don't think because you're pregnant that the charges against him would be any different. Unless he hurt your child! It would be some assault.. not sure which degree. He could do 90 days-6months. Let us know!

Actually he could get atempted manslater, for you and your baby if he would have hit u. Assult on a pregnant woman is worse than a woman who is not pregnant. But I do think he would get some jail time and a protection order of some sort

No, if the baby passed away because of the man hitting the mother, or if the baby was born with some kind of defect, then it would be attempted manslaughter. But that is only if the baby is hurt. And according to her post, the man didn't hit her, he just threatened her. Then that would be harassment. He could do UP to 1 year, but I doubt that long.
