My daschund had back surgery a few years ago and it ended up great... however lately she is having troubles with her back leg... it doesn't seem to be a back thing but perhaps a muscle problem. Any ideas? Unfortunately the last surgery cost us $4000, we can't afford to pay that again but we don't want to lose our baby??

Medical issues are not where I am strongest. It is possible what ever is wrong with the leg will not require expensive surgery. I can only suggest finding out for sure by having her examined by the vet.
