The male part of the drain (that inserts through the shower base) is very close in size, but will not thread into this nut. Is there some way that I can get a proper fitting to fit into this nut without having to tear out the pipe and put in a 2" pipe?
I can't find anything at my local home depot and am going to head to a plumbing supply store tomorrow. Please help.
Thanks.
... didn't have a 1 1/2" to 2" adapter or hub? The plumbing store should have something for you. Even the traditional hardware stores will offer something that will ease the amount of rework.
