Gears Slipping from a 93' Honda Accord
I have a 93' Honda Accord and recently when my vehicle chooses it feels like the gears are slipping. I can be in 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th and it will slip and feel like I am in neutral. When I brake it feels like I am downshifting! BUT my car isn't stick! I temporarily fixed the problem by switching to PARK then to D4... however the next day after driving home on the turnpike for about 45min it kicked in again and my gears slipped?? I NEED HELP! Niki

It sounds like your transmission needs an overhaul. You might try changing the transmission fluid and filter and see if that helps. Honda recommends changing the ATF every 30,000 miles or 24 months, whichever comes first. If you haven't been doing this regularly, then you probably know it might need rebuilding.
