Hi,
Im at my wits end here. Please can someone help me. My daughter and I hear footsteps coming from our bedrooms,coming up and down the stairs and something standing over us, and my little boy wakes up crying and shouting ''stop, get away from me, I'm scared'' at night. Also I feel a presence in my room where my body goes numb and heavy and I can't move or scream when this happens. My daughter is getting very frightned, we are staying up all night as we are afraid to go asleep and this is wearing us out. My daughter has been telling me with the last few months that she can hear things like footsteps and voices in the night but no one is awake... all this seems to be happening at the same time every night which is from 3.30 onwards. I am afraid to tell anyone in case they think I'm losing it and I was reading some of the other questions on this website and I realise that I am not alone here. Please,please can you help. Thank you

I have had the same experiences mostly when I was younger but it still happends sometimes I don't know what your religious views are but when I hear about these things the same advice comes up: say a prayer to keep them away before bed and tell the spirits to leave

Personally I feel prayer is important. Even having a priest come out to bless you and your family members and your home.

If you keep yourself open to these experiences. If you continue to fear them and show them your frightened it gives them strengh. The more fear you develop the more power you give them. This is very true and proven. You and your family need to show strengh and show that your not frightened of them.

Thank you very much for your advice. I have tried prayers. I am catholic. But it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I will go and see a priest and ask him to bless the house. Once again thank you. Much appricated,annabell.
