First get rid of Win ME. Second, that's not the info we need. I would suggest going to Belarc.com, then download and run their Advisor. It will give you a comprehensive look at your machine. 112.0MB makes no sense. Is that RAM or what? What processor do you have? What is 53% Free?

Yes, 120.0 is his RAM, think in the mind of a comp. noob... (no offence)

Listen, your computer may be running slow because you have really low virtual memory, to fix this, go to your local computer store, and ask for a 1 gb Ram stick, it should cost about $130 or so, depending on the stick manufacturer, then you need to ask them how to install it.

But first I need to know if your seeing a pop-up saying that your virtual memory is low...

First, While the 112.0MB figure is probably his RAM, we can't know for sure. By suggesting using Belarc, he can learn more about his system and give us the info we need to know.

Second, If his RAM is indeed 112MB, then its unlikely his motherboard can support a 1G stick. So that was bad advice.

Third, speculating that Virtual Memory is the problem is a decent guess but its pure speculation without knowing more.

Its nice of you to want to help, but so far your response to computer questions have not been very good.
