    Thought I'd share this one guys (God I love Wikipedia!);

    This is today's (13th June) featured picture;

    Image:Mole cricket02.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    This guy is a Mole Cricket, he's almost an inch and a half long, he lives underground...

    And he makes my skin crawl!

    Look at that massive head and tiny wings!

    OMG IT FLIES!

    I just wonder how many more monsters like this live underground, waiting to fly into me and eat my head? :confused:

    20cm? 20cm!

    I honestly don't know what I'd do if I saw that, run... or find the nearest thing big enough to throw at it... like a house brick!

    Although knowing my luck, it would catch it, and throw it back at me! :D

    Yeah, I've heard loads of stories about camel spiders, mostly myths!

    Although I do know it's true that they can run pretty quick, and love the shade.

    So if you run away from one, they try and stay in your shadow, so it seems like they're chasing you, so you move faster, and so do they!

    VERY vicious circle! Lol!

    Are this the type of bugs that eat dead people?

    I'm sure most bugs would eat dead people to be honest, we're full of nutricious goodness!

    You know, I just read RickJ's post about getting back from fishing and it made me hungry thinking about cooking up some fish for lunch.

    I just lost my appetite. :(

    I get those crickets in my lawn. Its great fun pouring soapy water down their holes and watching them come gasping for air at the surface.
    The little bast@rds eat my beautiful grass. That is a big mistake!!

    My little fella lives all over the world, but underground, so no-one sees him!

    The weta lives mostly in New Zealand.

    The Camel Spider lives in hot, sandy places like Afghanistan and Iraq!

    Thankfully not in Yorkshire! Lol!
