    Toilet overflow
How do you stop a toilet from overflowing. The tank does not have the ball that I used to be able to lift to stop overflowing.
I flushed toilet after using it and the toilet bowl started overflowing. Took off tank cover and expected to be able to lift the ball to stop the overflowing toilet bowl, but it does not have a ball. It has a Koehler Fluidmaster. I had to use three towel (big ones) and was finally able to run down and get the plunger.

What overflows? The bowl or the tank? If it's the bowl you have a blockage and if it's the tank replace the ballcock. Regards, tom
