Most toilets are a 12" standard rough in from face of wall to center of flange.

Im Not Disagreeing Just To Do It But We Go 13" This Is Counting For Sheetrock Being A 1/2
In Your House Measure From Your Sheetrock To The Bolts On The Flange And Add A Half Inch That Will Tell You What The Toilet Is.

They sell 10 inch and 12 inch roughs, always add your finished wall. Made mine 18 inch on the side and 15 inch on the back. I need leg room and now I can paint behind the toilet without moving it. Depends on room available

Dad, one more thing any plumbing questions ask in the plumbers forum and when speedball answers your needs take it to the bank.
