Right now, I'm having a personal problem. I've known this girl for more than a month and we hung out at a theme park, at a party, and recently at a small lunch we had. I still like her, but I can't help but be shy towards her. I try to talk to her online, but it ends up becoming quiet after a minute or two.
I did manage to have a conversation through most of the lunch with her, but now I'm acting the exact opposite when I talk to her online. What are some good ways to continue the conversation and make it interesting? I feel like if I send her a lot of messages at once, it'll make me look awkward because I'm trying too hard.
I might have a better shot talking to her face to face rather than through instant message and Facebook, but she seems to be online a lot. It might be vital for me to message her, but my mind goes into a blur when it comes to this. I'm probably asking for the most fundamental of conversation tips, but I just need to get refreshed again..
Maybe I should ask her if she's planning anything soon or if she wants to go somewhere with me? She is going to have a party sooner or later, but it's going to be in a few months. However, I'm thinking of asking her to go to New York City with me to check out the wax museum and eat out. Even if I know her somewhat well, do you think this is a good idea?
