I just had to put a fuel pump on my cavalier and now it will run but if you drive it a little ways or give it a little gas it losses all power and starts spitting and sputtering. Please can someone help me.

Here's what I would do:

. Change the fuel filter.
. Change the spark plugs. Use only the exact ACDelco plugs that came in the car.
. Replace the Ignition Control Module:

. Replace the coil:

Replace items in the order listed. Many AutoZone stores can test the Ignition Control Module and coil for free.
