Does coconut oil work to help with weight loss and thyroid health?

I have a jar of coconut oil in my pantry.. its absolutely great stuff for cooking, even spreading on bread instead of butter.

I too haven't had any experience losing weight with coconut oil, but I don't really have any weight to lose and don't use coconut oil enough to notice anything..

What Dr. Mercola says about it probably hits the nail on the head.
