I have a Whirlpool Commercial Quality Super Capacity Dryer, Model LER7648KQ0.

It has two problems.

1. The inside of the door gets very hot when operating.

2. It makes a knocking noise.

Can anyone tell me where to start troubleshooting these problems.

I got it used and don't know the age of the unit.

I do not believe I have an answer for the first problem, but the knocking may be caused by a loose belt. I am not an appliance expert, but this might be an explanation. I apologize I couldn't be more helpful, but I will pray your problem will be solved; God can take care of anything :).
