I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right category, but I sure hope someone can still help me.

I'm not able to view Java applets. I've downloaded the most recent version of JVM. I have version 1.4.1. I've tried changing some settings (like enabling Java in my internet options) but nothing has worked. I've been to Java websites, and tried everything it says to do in the troubleshooting section, but it still doesn't work. I'm pretty much just wanting to play some games, and all I see on the screen is a rectangle with small shapes in the top left corner. Please help me! I appreciate it so much.

Try going into your internet explorer and going tools -internet options - advanced - and making sure the use java sun blah blah blah is checked also make sure you securty settings allow you do download applets
