I have 10 baby chicks, about a month two of them (the only black two) are missing a small patch of feathers on the side of their neck (both on the same side) does anyone know what could cause this?!

They are probably being pecked by either the mother or other chicks, is there skin missing also or just feathers? It could also be their adult feathers coming through but that depends on their age.
