Hi This year is my Junior prom and I can't figure out which style or color I should wear. Ball gowns make my top look small, well because it is but it makes it worse. My hair is about 6 inches past my shoulders and my eyes are a carmel brown. I am about 5'8" and very! Pale. Any ideas for a dress?

What about a style like this, but a different color, say, cadet blue or a rich burgundy/mahogany?

I'm guessing you could find something similar, but long. It's very simple and doesn't have that nasty strapless look that's so popular nowadays.

I'll continue to look for a long version.

I think green is a lovely color on red heads. And actually red is also a nice color on redheads (like the dress in Moulin Rouge that Nicole Kidman wears!).

As far as a small top goes, I am right there with you. But we have our opportunities with that. For example, where a strapless. Halter dresses are also very nice on smaller girls.

Do you want something flowy, with a lot of chiffon layers, something satin, with body in the skirt, something simple, with one layer (like a long cotton dress)?

Have you any idea of what body shape you are?

Pear, rectangle, hourglass or apple.

Once you know what shape you are you can narrow your search to look for a specific shape of dress.

As for colour,I'm a redhead and green or purple looks great.

If you just consider your red hair, I suggest you can wear a prom dress in green or purple color.
