What is the difference between philosophy and science
What is the difference between philosophy and science
Science is more about research and finding out what makes things work.
Philosophy deals more with concepts and ideals (often more abstract) and how things relate to each other in a working manner. For example philosophy questions nature vs nurture whereas science tries to prove the working aspects to come up with nature or nurture.
Hello re:
Philosophy is an idea. Ideas are intangible and can't be measured. Philosophy is ethereal, which means it lacks material substance.
Science, on the other hand, attempts to decipher the measurable universe.

Science attempts to answer the 'how' questions.
Philosophy attempts to answer the 'why' and 'how-to' questions.
I am a science person who loves philosophy too, to me , they are two major subjects that help me understand about life.

Everything articulated is an idea.
Philosophy is very much about measuring ideas.
Both Science and Philosophy share a desire for truth. Both employ logical thinking in order to gain in terms of information from a state of ignorance to one of being informed or accurate.
There is also a philosophy of science.
Philosophy: is imagination or how you analize something.
What in your opinion you understand it to be...
Science: is proving given facts, whether by certain theory or by laboratory testing.
Philosophy... what could be
Science... what is proven to be
When something happens, three questions arise - what,
How and why.
You will get an answer to the first question within a
Short period. We use our common sense for it.
You have to spend more time to answer the second
Question. Science tries to find rationality behind all
Happenings.
Different persons may give different answers for the
Third question. But you will never get a true answer
For it - it is philosophical in nature. Philosophy tries
To provide answers to some of them using knowledge
Of wise persons of former generations.
Philosophy is theory of Imagination so imagination have not limited therefor it is un measurable and science is based to experiment it found final result of experimental there for science is measurable.
