Painful tendon or ligament? In groin area
Every few days (or once a week), I have been having a problem with hard pains that I think might be with tendons or ligaments in my right groin area. Certain ways that I stand or twist... such as getting out of a car... or pivoting... sometimes cause pain that feels like my leg is going to fall off at that point. Sometimes it feels like a small snap or popping sensation, but other times is only pain that might extend into the upper front of my leg. The problem is not constant, and just when I think it is gone, it happens again. In some ways, it almost feels like my leg is trying to pop out of socket, but it never has. I do not have any hernias.
Any suggestions? I can't think of anything else that these symptoms might fit, so if you think of any possibilities let me know.
I'm not asking for medical advice, just wondering if others have had anything like that happen? Not sure what type of doctor I should make an appointment with, or even if I need to since I don't want to pay a bunch of money to hear them say to use heating pads... What are some ideas that I could try at home to see if it helps? Such as stretches? Or would I be better off trying to rest it and not moving it so much?
Again, I only want suggestions and know that most people are not doctors...
