How many hours per well will you work?
Would you multiple that times the money you earn ?

Do you know how to add the percentages together,

this really is simple math. A $2 pocket calculator (or pencil and paper) will calculate it for you

11*# of hours=Gross pay. Gross pay*withholding % = Withholding. Gross pay-Withholding = net pay.

Could be homework too, particularly if they know-all the deductions.

I agree about homework. FICA isn't 5%; it's 7.65%.
