    Auto AC
    Refrigerant won't leave can?

I hooked the charge hose to the can, pierced the top, and then connected the hose to the low port. Then I released the refrigerant into the system doing the 12-3 clock procedure but nothing is happening. The can does not get cold. Compressor clutch is not engage because I think its low on freon.

I tried using different hoses and still nothing.

You really should perform a system check. Guessing is expensive and frustrating.

    Troubleshoot Automotive Air Conditioning Problems

How do you know the fuse to the clutch isn't blown? You cannot think the refrigerant is low you have to check it with pressure gauges.

Also you have to be sure you are connecting to the proper side of the A/C hoses as you need to hook to the low pressure side.

Confirm for connecting to the proper side of the A/C hoses as you need to hook to the low-pressure side.
