If they have a problem hiring someone over 65, then they are descriminating and you need to report them. Seniors in the workforce are much sought after in Ontario Canada; their expertise in certain fields cannot be replaced by younger people.
What type of work do you do ? What are you experienced in ?
I am 70 and I have a great job in healthcare.
Check with public libraries in your area. Libraries love workers over 60!
Yes there are some... To be sure, you have to check first the backbone of the company like it is stable, credible and who's funding it. Ask also for any legal documents like certifications, licenses and accreditation. There are some homebased online business that are really helpful and been in the market for quite long years already with proofs of pay-outs.
I could not seem to find their web site, but what types of offers ? If they are not realistic, that is one sign. Most work at home will earn 10 dollars a hour or less often.
Do they want money up front, a real work at home offer will not require you to be paying them
Yes there are those companies offering FREE membership but usually you will only EARN points and sometimes cents. On the other hand, there also companies asking you to pay for a membership, BUT you will EARN REAL money. What they usually offer is "revenue sharing" through selling digital advertising packages, "Pay Per Click Digital Advertising and Branding" and through advertisement bonuses.
So now, how will we know if the company is trusted and legit?
Before you decide to invest, check if the company has 4 divisions or criteria to be sure it's realistic. First, you have to know if it is educational or does it offer learning to the user as well as to your target market. Secondly, is it a business builder? Next, does it support fundraising and direct selling? Lastly, are the IT's and programmers using an anti-fraud security systems? Opps! Also, check if how long the company has been doing the business and certificates of incorporation..
By the look of the ads they have on that site I would be very wary of it. Any site that touts "$7,500 a months from home!!!!" is sending out a big red flag.
I think earning $7,500 is feasible and probable ONLY AFTER doing 1 to 2 years of online marketing. It's not instant. Well, if they say you could earn it after 2 weeks of joining, then it's probably a big red flag :)
I disagree. No real person working from home is earning that. It's an unrealistic expectation pure and simple, whose sole purpose is to give hope to people in order to part them with their money or their time (and clicks).
If there are ligitament work at home businesses out there, can the people who work share with others the kind of work they do.
The legitimate ones may involve typing and maybe editing high school and college terms papers, master's theses, and dissertations. Of course, that assumes you are a good and fast typist and also good with grammar. There are other writing/typing possibilities, but the home worker has to know what he/she is doing.
The other work-at-home jobs such as stuffing envelopes, etc. are usually scams. There is a book (c.2008) that might be helpful --
