    If you have a purchase of supplies on account for $4,730 was credit to Supplies for $4,730 and a credit to Accounts for $4,730. If the totals on the trail balance are not equal, by how much is one column higher than the other?

    You cannot have two credits otherwise your trial balance will be unbalanced by twice the entry
