What would you tell the new kid at your school

I think we really need a bit more information to help. How do you know the child? Are you their teacher, principal, parent, or do you hold a different position? How old is the child? Is this a school for the gifted or a public school? Are you just introducing yourself or is there something specific you'd like to convey?

Since this is in the Education forum, under "Gifted children", I'm assuming that you go to a gifted school or are a teacher in a gifted school?
