My period is 6 days late and I have had very light spotting for the past 2 days. It was red and now brown. It only appears when I wipe. I've taken a HPT and it was negative. My cycle are very regular, to the T - 29 days. I thought when the spotting started that it was my period. It has never began to flow though and seems to be getting lighter. I tried calling my OBGYN but they have gone for the weekend. What should I do?

If your period doesn't come in a week, test again using first morning urine. It's possible you tested too early.
