Anyone used tips for wallpaper adhesive
Removing wallpaper from a room with good success using a tiger claw scorer and hot water. Kicker is that the border adhesive is stubborn. The paper is off, most of the backing removed, but lots of residue to clean with hard scrubbing.

So... the paper is off. Just some junk left behind at the ceiling border needing scrubbing.

Just wondering if anyone's used TSP for removal of stubborn adhesive. The wall is painted underneath, so I can scrub no problem... I'm just getting annoyed and wondering if TSP in water will do any better than just hot, soapy water or water with fabric softener... these are working, but I'm wondering about whether TSP would be a good choice.

Any takers? I don't want links to websites, just experience getting stubborn adhesive off.

    Danke!

Never tried TSP, you could give it a shot or try a wallpaper remover (DIF) mixed with warm water. Soak it good a few times and it should get easier to remove.

    Hi All:

I only use TSP (tri-sodium-phosphate) when I run into this situation. I miss the powdered TSP... any chance that is still available in your area.. or is TSP available in your area, liquid only? DIF as amricca mentioned also works fine!

Either way... beats soapy water! Use the tiger claw... follow directions on label of TSP/DIF. If powder available, use warm water. If liquid only.. follow directions.. and should help here.

    Wear disposable gloves... ;)

    Good luck!. Mark
