How long after paying off a credit card does it take to raise your FICO score?

Paying off a credit card will not normally raise your score at all.

Unless it caused a huge drop in your debt to income ratio, it won't have much effect at all.

The things that would raise your score the most quick are installment loans like a mortgage or auto loan, paid on time every time.

These type loans add much more points than any revolving account will.
