Travelling with only full birth certificate
Well,, after trying for 3 months to contact and make an appointment with the portuguese consulate (which is a big piece of rubbish) I would like to know if my baby is allowed to cross the channel with only her full birth certificate (issued in Britain) my husband is portuguese and we would like to register the baby as portuguese, we would like to do it down there in portugal, as there it takes one week to register her and issue a passport , while in London take MONTHS!! just for having an appointment please can any one advice me upon this matter?? As we need to travel as a matter of urgency. Many Thanks

I got British passports for my children in one day. Make an appointment at the Passport office, appear in person and you collect at the end of the same day.
