My Company has 14,448,000 Shares out standing and I am doing a one for reverse stock split bringing the total Shares outstanding down to 3,612,000 Shares Outstanding. One website told me the Authorized Shares and the Par Value will not change. Based on this I made an adjustment to off set the difference so my balance sheet balances.

I suppose my questions are: 1) Is this proper and 2) do I make the change in the period we did the reverse split or do I go back to inception and adjust all prior years?
