I am the executor of my mothers estate. Her will leaves her home to me, my bother and two sisters in equal shares. Since my oldest sister cared for my mother for the last ten years of her life, we have all agreed that she should get the home. This agreement is included in the Short Form Settlement filed with the County Commission in West Virginia which was signed and notarized by each of us as beneficiaries.

What wording would I use in the deed to transfer the home to my sister? Will all of us have to transfer title or can I do it by myself as the executor?

At this point, I would have an attorney or at least a title company write and do the deed transfers. The cost is worth avoiding future issues later.
