Can anyone understand that circumstances sometimes cause money problems
Its not always easy to pick yourself up when everyone sees you as a loser and your family is all torn apart. People made fun of Elvis and his family but it only took him to turn the family around sometomes we are only one person away from success.

How do you pick yourself up without asking for money example my daughter finally gets a job after applying for two years then her car gets repossed and she never seems to have a way out.

How do you break the endless cycle ?

You just deal with things as they happen and give them your best shot and/or consult with people wiser than you to help you figure out what to do. Like the repossessed car. Is there a way to regain the car by talking with someone who can make changes in the repo situation?

She has given it her best shot but she has done that.she only has two semesters of college left because she wants to make a better life for her children. She has checked into many alterntives to her situation but hasn't found a solution.

So what alternatives is she looking for? What specifically does she want?

She wants a way to give her children a better life and get out of depending on others for her situations although she very seldom asks people for help. She wants to be able to make it on her own

She has two semesters of college left. When she graduates, what will she have a degree in?

    Bachelor's, I'm guessing?

What does she plan to do with that? What kinds of jobs will she be looking for and in which general area of the world?

To be a psychiatrist, she will need a medical degree and about 12 more years of school that will include an internship or two and residency. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor.

Grads with bachelor's in psych rarely can do anything on their own and don't have much leverage in a company/hospital/non-profit. She needs at least a master's degree.

Hi caringone, actually With a bachelors degree in psychology there are lots of career paths your daughter can move up in while continuing on for her masters should she wish too. Here are some:
    Case Management
    Career Counselor
    Rehabilitation Specialist
    Psychiatric Technician
Top- and mid-level management and administration
    Sales
    Social work
    Other management occupations
    Labor-relations, personnel and training
    Administrative positions
Real estate, business services and insurance
    Marketing
As far as the car goes, most states allow you to keep the car if you file bankruptcy. Even if it was reposessed the court would allow yo to pay what the car is actually worth at the time of filing. They would be forced to return the car. Just something for you to consider.
