    Double displacement of NaOH and NiCl2
    Write a complete, balanced equation for this double displacement reaction. Of NaOH and NiCl2. Complete form with neutrally charged compounds with all of the atoms. Any help and explanation would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    Perito

    NaOH = Na(+) + OH(-)
    NiCl2 = Ni(+2) + 2 Cl(-)

    you would be forming NaCl and Ni(OH)2. Each cation Na+ and Ni+2 simply exchanged the anions Cl- and OH-. Simply write an equation forming those products and balance it. The balancing should prove trivial.
