How long do they have to indict you if you in jail
Hey my boyfriend is in jail for almost two mouths for burgley but this is his first time ever in trouble with the law.they arrested him cause what somebody said he was in on it but they didn't find anything on him and he have not been indict yet. He have a clean record into now. All I want to know is what is he looking at if they do indict him even if he never been in trouble before, but if they don't indict him how long can they hold him

ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. But in most places they have to arrest and arraign him within days not months. An indictment is a different process and may not even occur.

Has bail been set? Does he have an attorney?

If he has been in jail for two months he has already been formally charged. The term indict as for as a grand jury does not have to be done in all areas.
