I messed up something today in my sonicwall. I was able to fix the IP address issue. Now the internet doesn't work. Anything I should be doing? In desperate help.

First troubleshooting step is to bypass the firewall to see if you have access. Back up your rules and reset the firewall if it is the cause.
Why not just re-boot the modem ?
Rebooting the modem would be the first thing I try, and see what happens.
When you lose Internet Connectivity, whether you may have caused it or not, the first thing to do is start out and work in. What this means is bypass all of your LAN devices and go straight to the router or modem you're using as your LAN Gateway. Test directly off that LAN Interface. If it works, move to the next device. etc..
Now, with most setups, your SonicWall will likely be this next device (unless there is a Layer 3 switch in between). Assuming you didn't save the config/rules when you were making changes, why not just powercycle the FW?
Other than that advice, it's hard to say much more without knowing more. One thing you can try is a simple traceroute from your SonicWall (or any device) and see if it hits your gateway.
