If I Declare Bankruptcy,will I Lose My House?

I don't think so. My mom did it and she still has her house. I think (but don't quote me on this) as long as there are no liens on the property it shouldn't be an issue. You can talk to your attorney about it, they'll be able to tell you everything you need to know. You can also do a search on google-there's always a decent answer there.

I had a chapt 7 nearly 5 yrs ago, and kept my house. It was not part of the chapt 7... I kept my used car too.

So many people think bankruptcy is an easy way out... it's not really... think long and hard before you do it.

IT is a yes, a no and a maybe. How much debt are you in, how much behinid on the house are you, are you willling to re-affirm your house mortgage, ( what you do to keep the house) can you make the payments, if you are behind, will you have a plan for keeping it.

You really will not know till you sit down with an attorney and let them review all for your debts.
