It is midway down my right foot and only foot massage seems to apease it, but itsgetting worse and hurts earlier and earlier each evening. I seem to have the same problem as you do. I just went to a foot doctor today, have had an MRI and X-rays. It is soft muscle tissue, no bone injury. The Dr. said to use a foot compression, Ibprofen 4 times a day and not to go bare foot at all inside or outside. To do foot lunges to stretch the foot. When my husband rubs the foot it helps but then hurts more afterwards, I know exactly how you feel.

My symptoms are the same : 4 years now . Was diagnosed as Plantar Fasciitis , was told to get specialized shoe inners and I spent approx 400 dollars on two pair of shoes but they killed me after 20 minutes walking, found one pair of shoes that at least allowed me my working day of walking... as I said four years and still suffering. Getting more of your describrd pain now all the time.
