OK, here's where to start... First, most women who experience nausea during pregnancy are at least 4-8 weeks pregnant. The cause of the nausea is quite often the build up of the HCG hormone, (same one they look for in pregnancy tests). Second... let me say from experience (my sister as well), that you absolutely can be pregnant and have some bleeding. Especially when the fertilized egg is implanting in your uterus. It's called implantation bleeding. There is the chance that also, either you are starting your period, or, that you could be passing the fertilized egg. I purposely refrain from using the "miscarriage" word because you are so very early on, if pregnant, I wouldn't want you to feel a loss. My sister had a medium to light 3 day period last June, and couldn't get a positive pregnancy test for her life! Her sweet baby girl was born this last February 20th. There's the proof. Anyway, good luck, and remember that pregnancy is a miracle, and take your time and enjoy the process. And wish me luck, my husband and I have just begun trying for our forth! :D

    What she said!

Have you just recently come off the pill?

I was 8 weeks late and had two days separately during that whole time frame, break out bleeding. Now I've been bleeding heavily for two days.

HAve you taken a pregnancy test? If so and it was positive, you should contact your doctor.

I was pregnant with my second child and started bleeding. The doctor did an ultrasound and seen that I was pregnant with twins and one was in trouble, slow heartbeat. That night I started bleeding heavy! I rushed to the ER, soaked in blood, and they were talking about doing a DNC. They called my ob/gyn and he told them to wait, because I had two babies in there. The Dr. came to the ER, checked me out and sent me home, because after 2 hrs the bleeding stopped. The next day I had an ultrasound and I still had my baby, but I had miscarried the twin in trouble. The rest of my pregnancy went like typical twin pregnancies with preterm labor and then birth. But I now have a healthy 10 yr old girl.

So you could be pregnant and your body is trying to tell you something or you are just starting your period late? The only one to give you an exact answer is your ob/gyn. Call them today!

Good Luck and God Loves You!
