    Hot or cold?
What freezes faster, hot or cold water?

I did this test years ago to settle a bet. Cold water freezes l0 to l5 times faster then warm/hot water. I think it has something to do with the condensation around the hot water that keeps it from freezing quickly.

Of course, cold water will freeze faster than hot water. During freezing the temperature of the water is getting lower. If the temperature is already lower, it will freeze sooner.

Cold Water Indeed.. Firstly, hot gets cold and then freezes. Hence for hot water, it takes 2 processes and for cold one.. with Time favourin the cold.
