    Samsung squeaky dryer
    Hi All:

I have been following the threads on squeaky dryers. I have a (just) one year old Samsung stackable dryer (model DV4006) that has just started squeaking. First it was intermittent, now it is continuous (and piercing!). Is it normal for these parts to go so quickly?

I hope to try to fix mine myself. There is ample information about how to fix the frigidaire (?). But I wondered if the instructions are different for different models?

    Thanks!

I have heard other technicians from my company talking about Samsung appliances... they weren't happy people. I myself have only worked on one Samsung refrigerator. I couldn't begin to assist you without first looking for information on them back at the shop. I'll repost if I find any information.

    Hi Appleguy.

Thanks for the quick response. I may have found a local fellow who has changed the bearings in another Samsung in my condo. I gather that they are low end builder quality (brand new condo). No worries. I can live without a dryer for a bit, and hopefully get hold of the fellow who has done the bearings on another machine.

    Once again, thanks!
