I agree with ScottGem... your Crystal Ball, Tarot cards, favorite flipping coin, 8-Ball, or Ouija board is as good as anyone's. Playing around in Futures markets are essentially the same as expecting to pick the winner of any given Horse race....and probably even less likely to guess right.

And in any case, if you are asking random people on the internet....you REALLY need to find a better place to park your money. Like a CD or something less volatile.

You need to be an expert on
- Resistance to genetically modified corn
- Politics of subsidies
- Advances in alternate fuels

That's just for starters. And of course you need to be able to predict the weather as always, LOL.

With the weather and over production this year, I would think that corn futures will fall greatly (if they have not already)

Corn is -8.2% YTD. Cattle -25% YTD.
