Do you need an ID when signing a birth certificate if you are under 18?
I am 15 and my girlfriend is pregnant and she is due any day now. She is 16, and a friend of the family told me that in the state of Florida you have to have some form of state identification in order to sign the birth certificate. I was just wondering if that was true? And will I be able to sign my son's birth certificate without any ID?

You need to check with the hospital what they require, perhaps your birth certificate with one of your parents present
