I was just wondering in your opinion, is Hilton a beter hotel chain or is Marriott? Why?

Well, I personally like Hilton better than Marriot.
Depends on the area you go as well, I consider service is an important factor.

Hilton Garden Inn has good air condition system and gives you shower hat.
No tooth paste though, but if you ask the desk, they will give you some.

Problly not.

The breakfast is like buffet $10 something like that.
If you get oatmeal only that's about 3 bucks.

The Courtyards by Marriot I have used are far more consistently clean and have all the amenities, i.e. refrigerator, etc than the Hiltons I have been in. My opinion of the Hilton chain is that they don't monitor their properties for consistency. Some are really good but some are really, really bad i.e. water leaks, mold on walls, etc.
