Why doesn't Sears don't sell any more Game Boy video games?
I am trying to buy all the pokemon Game Boy video games in Sears department store and when I went to the store they say that they don't sell them anymore and they tell me that you have go to sears.com to buy them.

Sears is changing where and how they sell things. There was an article in the newspaper recently that said Sears will no longer sell clothes and other things in the bricks-and-mortar stores, so shoppers will have to buy them online. Video games must be another thing we will have to buy online.

They don't sell enough in the stores to make economic sense.

Game Boy has been replaced by the newer game systems like the DS, DSi, and 3DS. It's been years since a new Game Boy system was even made. Because of this, the games for them are getting harder to find and demand for the games just isn't there. As Judy said, it doesn't make economic sense for them to stock these games.

Yes, Sears has its own plan for changing what is happening in their stores.

Sears has changed drastically since it became Sears/KMart, including the stock both stores carried. Sears sort of "dumbed down."

I get all my games on eBay. It's cheaper than the actual shops and I can get older games (MegaDrive wins over the xbox any day)

    Me neither...

The only issue is whether you trust them to actually send the item and not take the money and run, which has never happened to me.

Maybe lbaven is referring to whether they are bootlegs or pirated copies. I know that sometimes games coming from certain areas are pirated.

Many of them on eBay seem to come from Hong Kong. Don't know how they do it but they do.
