How do I unlock? It is like a safety thing I guess. I can't wash dishes and it is driving me nuts

I guess you don't have a users manual ? If you haven't, it is easy enough to look up on line if you know your model number, serial number, whatever.

Is it a digital safety lock?
Mine (GE) was locked once because it was new and I didn't know how to use it ,
