Help,
My Kenmore side by side model # 106.565624 has stopped making ice and a red light next to its on/off switch is blinking. I have replaced the pur water filter and reset the water filtration and flushed the lines. I have also turned off then on the ice maker switch. No change - still blinking red light. Before I dish out repair fees for what may be a simple solution, I post this question here. Please help, it's summer and we're down south!

I have the same problem. How was it fixed?:confused:

No answer here but as of Thursday 2/3/11 my Kenmore side by side is now doing the same thing. The light flashes and the ice bucket has been emptied. I've only had this refrigerator for 3 years. The water dispenser works fine. It's just not producing any ice in the ice bucket. I don't even hear that hissing sound when it would fill up someplace inside before making ice. I have same model and have had this problem twice, both times the water feed line into the ice maker was frozen. I applied some heat to the black rubber line with a hair dryer and moved it back and forth to break-up the ice. Good Luck
