All right everyone got a question. I'm having a hair follicle drug test done in a couple of days and I'm worried. It goes back 90 days and I've smoked pot maybe 4 times in that time. But only 1 to 3 hits each time. Last time I smoked was almost 3 weeks ago and I only took one hit off a friends joint. I also did ecstasy two times, one time two days in a row about a month and a half ago. I'm such an infrequent user but I'm still paranoid. What are my chances of passing this test? Thanks!

If you get tested, why were you smoking it at all?

Paranoia is on of the side effects of pot use for many people.

Panic all you want, but nothing anyone can say, or anything you can do will change the results the lab finds. They will be what they will be. You have to sweat it out until the lab results come back.

Obviously I didn't know about the test until two and a half weeks AFTER the last time I smoked, otherwise I'm not stupid enough to touch any drugs if I know I have one coming up. And I've literally smoked pot a grand total of maybe 8 to 10 times in my WHOLE life so don't suggest drugs are affecting my mental state, Im not even a druggie, because it's true. Taking one hit every month AT MOST if not every few months doesn't make me a druggie. So next time I'd rethink what you say before you say it

Gee... TWO different drugs you admit to over numerous times over period of time that isn't even a single week much less a single day.... and you don't think you are a druggie. News flash... you are.

I'm not the one crapping their pants worrying about failing a drug test... you are. I've been subject to random drug testing as part of my job for about 30 years.

I haven't failed once, never even had to worry about it.

How about getting stuffed. Rude drug abusers like you DESERVE to fail their test....this wasn't a one time indiscretion.

Maybe you will learn about something called respect....apparently your parents never bothered to teach you anything about it.

Lol why don't you do some research. Taking a hit off a friends joint once a month at most doesn't nearly become close to true drug addiction. My aunt died of meth overdose. She was a methhead most of her life and lost several jobs because of it. It destroyed every part of her life and her husband and kids disowned her. She lost everything including her life because she was a DRUG ADDICT.

Most people live their lives without using chemicals as a crutch to get through the day. Or escape reality...

A one time event can be written off as an indiscretion, doing it over and over again over a period makes it an intentional act.

And typical of substance abusers, they always point out the extreme and claim... look... I'm not like them. Fact is... most substance abusers don't go to the extremes...

An addiction is a NEED for something over and over again... not just over and over until it kills you. Not all dug addicts live in shooting galleries living on Crack, meth, or Heroin, and not all drunks living an alley drinking anything with alcohol in it. Those were just the extremes.

As far as the test goes...you will have to wait and see what happens....there are too many unknown variables for anyone to confidently claim you will or you won't pass because you did use multiple times.

Yes but the difference is I don't go looking for drugs. Every single time I've done them I was hanging out with friends who were doing them and they usually offer it to me, so I take one or two hits or whatever usually marijuana. I'm not a druggie and I'm not in denial because truth he told, I know myself better than you or anybody else. Your not in my mind reading my thoughts or my actions; I am and only me. And I can guarantee you I have no drug addictions. The extent of my drug use is when friends offer them to me and I take very small doses to shut them up. And I'm young and stupid (22) and yeah I'm in a phase of experimenting, doesn't make me a drug addict. End of story, don't judge me or assume I'm in denial because your not me or in my mind; I am! So I'm done with this. Bye.

Since you are an infrequent user you should be able to pass a (non-judgmental) hair drug test.;)

With all of that said, the deed is done and there is no turning back. You will have to wait to see what the results are.
