    Deng xiao ping's thinking
I want to learn about Deng Xiao ping's thinking. I found many books and websites which are only explained about political theories. As I am not politician, I can't understand many political terms. I just want to know when he had to make change, how he think and why he think like this... something like that. Talking about this Great Leader is not easy. But at least, if I can know a little about his thinking, I will be satisfied. Thank you.

Which political terms are you having to deal with.

He dealt with political issues in political ways, not always the way he may have wanted and often clouded by the politics of local provinces.

Pick issues you are reading and we can discuss them.

Be a good time to learn about political terms so you can help yourself understand the things you read about your subject, or what's the point?

Research requires you to do MORE work obviously.

Communism and capitalism terms and the history. Moreover, his relationship with Chairman Mao. Let me give a example to show my thinking more clearly.

For example, Book 1 write " Mr. A eat bread everyday. His grand father ate bread. His father let him eat bread and he is westerner and all of his relatives eat bread everyday".

Book 2 write " Mr. A eat bread everyday. He like the taste of bread and it is easy to buy bread for him. Because in front of his home, there is a bread shop. "

I want to get books or websites which is like as Book 2.

    Thank you

The point is his thinking style. I don't want to learn about politic in detail. I can give price to understand his thinking style.

To understand him and Chairman Mao, you must understand communism and socialism. You also must understand that 100's of thousands of Chinese died under Mao because they had nothing to eat, when a large change was forced on the population.

My wife's father lived though Mao and my wife lived though the time you are looking at. The thought process was the control of millions of people who had no food, no work, and to change the thinking of the population.

Oh yes. Thank you. "The thought process was the control of millions of people who had no food, no work, and to change the thinking of the population". Glad to know this. I will try other things(like studying communism in detail) that help me to understand his thinking. By the way, your wife met hard times. Sorry to hear that. Finally, thank you again.
